About BlueprintPC

BlueprintPC is built by a small, independent team of PC builders — the BlueprintPC Team — who got tired of the same slow, tab-heavy routine every time a build had to be planned from scratch: checking socket compatibility by hand, guessing at bottlenecks, cross-referencing case clearances one spec sheet at a time.

Why we built this

Every general-purpose PC part picker treats compatibility as an afterthought and performance as a guess. We wanted the opposite: a builder where every rule check runs against real specs the moment you add a part, and every score is explicit about whether it's backed by a curated benchmark or estimated from published specs. No black boxes, no vague “this should work” — a clear verdict with a reason, every time.

How we work

The compatibility engine, scoring model, and benchmark leaderboard are documented in plain language on the FAQ & Methodology page — we'd rather show our work than ask you to trust a score. The Bench leaderboard is built entirely from real hardware runs shared anonymously by people using BlueprintPC Bench, not synthetic estimates.

BlueprintPC earns commissions through affiliate links to retailers, disclosed on every link and detailed on the Affiliate Disclosure page. That relationship never influences a compatibility verdict, a performance score, or which part gets recommended — the rules run the same regardless of what's being compared.
